Biodanza means Dance of Life. It is a system that integrates music, movement and authentic relating to create experiences of intense awareness of being alive in the here-and-now. These experiences are known as "vivencias" (experiences).

”Vivencias” are portals that allow access to primal emotions and help the most natural expression of one's true self emerge through movement.

Biodanza is grounded on psychological / philosophy studies and based on anthropology of dance, and traditional rituals of the celebration of life. It stimulates community bounds, awakens to consciousness for universal solidarity, helps participants to recover their joy and vitality, and celebrate the sacredness of life. No dance experience is necessary.

Sexuality represents the primordial energy pattern of power, beauty, enthusiasm and passion. It lives through the original thirst that our species has of pleasure and well-being. Its translated by the impulse to delve deep into the world of sensations.

It is guided by the compass that lives in our heart, connecting us with the need and the desire to give and receive love. So the first step is the recognize that love is an art, just as life is an art, if we want to learn how to love, we have to do what we would do if we wanted to learn how to play violin or painting.

The desire to love, is perhaps the strongest impulse of human creatures. It is his most fundamental passion, the motive that unites the human race, the clan, the family, the society. For the integrated human, bathed in the waters of this archetype, emerges the vision that all things bind together in a beautiful, coherent and mysterious way. This creature naturally has an empathy for the world around him.

We are encrusted in a Western culture that values the principle of performance excessively, blind to the functions of life, we urgently need an ecstatic incandescent fire, we need exuberance, we must surrender to the arms of life instead of trying to control and consume.

Our biological architecture places relationships at the epicenter of our life, it is not a luxury, it is a necessity fundamentally need in this condition of being human, at the same time, having a life partner seem like true Homeric adventures, such are the challenges that present themselves: How to be authentically myself without losing myself in the relationship, how to find individual and collective nourishing spaces, how to deal harmoniously with the challenges that arise, such as the arrival of children, and the inevitable psychological projections that occur as the relationship progresses.

Dancing is barefoot. No dance experience is necessary. You can start Biodanza anytime and enjoy benefits from its practise!

It's a system that integrates music and movement; it also makes possible to establish an authentic relationship with yourself, with other people and with the environment. Biodanza creates experiences of intense awareness of being alive in the here-and-now.

Biodanza is a delicate but deeply transforming work on consciousness, based on working with the body, body movement and dancing.

Celebrating life is a goal of Biodanza. It stimulates community bounds and makes establishing relationships easier, as well as helps participants regain joy and vitality to celebrate the sacredness of life. It makes a way to feel happy, healthy and more confident, with strengthened self-esteem, also improving the ability to make choices.

Biodanza is based on psychological and philosophical research, dance anthropology and traditional rituals. One of the teachers explains the origin of the word "biodanza" from the Greek bios meaning life, and from the Spanish danza which means dance.

Workshop is based on personal, direct experience - individually, in pairs, subgroups or in a group of all participants. There is music, movement and dance to enable the creation of harmony and closeness in interpersonal relations.

Rolando Toro Biodanza System is a method that works on every human being’s potential.

It reveals various possibilities and forms of expression to us. It is based on the positive resources of each of us, according to the author's method - the creator of the system, prof. Rolando Toro. Her father is a psychologist, anthropologist, poet and artist from Chile. And since the 1960s, system itself has been distributed in over 30 countries around the world as a method of personal development.

Biodanza draws our attention into building relationships and bonds between people through eye contact. An eye contact is considered as the fundamental base of a beautiful and meaningful communication without words. This also helps to open the heart, transform person's needs and desires and to be ready for new experiences.
