Opis
This specialized two-year long program is ideal for those interested in deepening their personal and spiritual growth and further integrating shamanism into their lives, as well as those who wish to take shamanism into their professional practice and help others achieve their potential through this work.
The program offers students a combination of close personal mentorship, advanced shamanic training through courses and group work, as well as the opportunity to develop their counseling skills through supervised one-on-one work with fellow students. In this manner, students enjoy the distinct advantages that private shamanic counseling offers alongside the benefits of long-term systematic training in specialized shamanic techniques and practices.
In order to participate in the school, it is necessary to have completed Arvick Baghramian's Basic Workshop "Magic of Shamanism" in advance and to have been qualified by Arvick for the program.
Shamanic practices which students are introduced to such as: shamanic healing, communication with the spirits of nature and the elements of the weather, soul retrieval work, divination work, extraction healing, and advanced shamanic counseling.
Course modules focuses on: relationships, wealth and abundance, death, living and mortality, personal and professional self-realization. Program participants will learn how to work more effectively with shamanic journeys, ritual, ceremony and practices inspired by indigenous shamanic cultures, and how to bring shamanism into their lives with awareness, heart, responsibility and respect.
The training program consists of 6 modules of 4.5 days each, with consist of approximately 8-12 hours of work per day, along with ongoing personal supervision. Each meeting will cover a variety of topics and techniques, but the exact sequence and content will be determined by Arvick as the course progresses to best tailor the program to the specific needs of the group.
Unlike attending separate courses covering different topics of shamanic work, this program is designed to provide participants with structured continuity between workshops and ongoing personal mentorship throughout the learning process. Therefore, in addition to participating in the 6 workshop modules, each participant will be assigned homework and will be required to report back to Arvick on their work and progress between meetings (in English!). The total length of the program is 2 years, with 3 group meetings per year.
All meetings will take place at the Tu i Teraz center in Nowe Kawkowo. The meetings will be stationary, which means that the participants will be accommodated in the center for the entire duration of the classes. All workshops will be translated into Polish. While individual correspondence with Arvick outside the workshop will be in English.
Before joining the program, all participants should:
- take part in the workshop for beginners "The Magic of Shamanism" led by Arvick,
- read Arvick's book "The Magic of Shamanism"
- complete a short form (in English) stating your motivation and the reason for your interest in the programme.

I am a psychotherapist, specializing in helping children and adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse. It was working with these individuals that led me into shamanism and other healing techniques, which I have been teaching since the 1980s. Working with this particularly traumatized group of people made me realize that traditional, verbal therapies, while effective up to a certain point, have important shortcomings when it comes to helping people to fully heal past injuries and traumas, transform their lives and regain their power. In search of more powerful techniques, I took up Play Therapy, NLP and Ericksonian Hypnosis, and then moved on to practicing and teaching Reiki, Conscious Breathing and the visualization technique of the Personal Totem Pole. However, it was in shamanism that I finally found my definitive professional home, marking the powerful transformative capacity of this spiritual and therapeutic practice.
I have trained extensively as a shamanic counsellor and teacher since the 1990s with Jonathan Horwitz at the Scandinavian Shamanism Research Center, as well as the Michael Harner Foundation for Shamanic Studies in the United States. I have been practicing and teaching shamanism around the world for the past 25 years, running workshops for practitioners and teachers in the UK, the USA, Israel, Poland, New Zealand, and Spain, where I also currently live. While I keep drawing on my past training as a therapist and continue working and running workshops in Reiki, Conscious Breathing and the Personal Totemic Pole, my practice is now primarily centered on shamanism and shamanic counselling.
In 2007, my book "The Magic of Shamanism" was published in English the UK. It is also available in print and ebook format in Spanish and in Polish.
I am also the author of the therapeutic game Revelations, designed to facilitate communication between children and parents, teachers or therapists in a fun and exciting way. The game is available in English, Spanish, Hebrew, and Polish.
