Together with my love Anna we give pragmatic workshops. We give workshops for couples and singles. We only pass on what has worked for us.  My 34 year relationship with Anna became richer and freer after we walked the Tantra path. As if we could speak another language. We now experience more freedom and abundance, but always in connection with each other.  Together with Anna, we have been studying at the Center for Tantra in Amsterdam for a long time. We have done education and training with Anand Rudra, Mantak Chia, Margot Anand & Esther Perel and many others.  Tantra & Yoga have brought me the lifestyle change my life has been waiting for.

Anna Prat i Bascomte

I am Anna Prat i Bascompte, life partner of Mark Oostermeijer, mother of three daughters who teach me something every day.  Looking for my options, I left Barcelona when I was eighteen. After four years in Germany I moved to the Netherlands to give love a chance. The Netherlands has felt at home for 30 years, but I keep the endless curiosity from the beginning of my journey.  As a psychologist,

I have always looked for more than just talking. I work with psychodrama, EFT (Emotional Focus Therapy for Couples), EMDR, Transactional Analysis and Mindfulness. I support people to go back to the body, our source of wisdom. Last year I followed the “Sacred Feminity Tao Tantric Arts” course with Shashi Solluna and Minke de Vos. I am very grateful for their lessons.  Together with Mark I am currently following a two-year program at the Center for Tantra in Amsterdam. Our relationship grows deeper and more joyful with age. I feel very grateful for all the movements that life brings!

Workshop

1. Dealing with Festival challenges!

Going to a Tantra Festival is full of joy and can also be quite challenging. You probably go to the festival to grow, to explore, to learn and maybe for new experiences. In a tantra festival you are surrounded by nice open persons, your sensitivity is enhanced by the workshops and meditations, you open yourself with dance and celebrate with others. It is quite normal that your attention and energy can feel dispersed. If you are in the festival with your beloved it can be also be quite challenging because your energy is pulled by a lot of other energies.

How are you able to keep standing with arousal and high energies around you. How are you coping and handling your own energy? What are your personal desires?

In a festival your emotional body opens up, you can feel easily triggered with emotions of insecurity, sadness, anxiety or anger. But also feelings of extreme happiness, connection and ecstasy. All this feelings give you information about your boundaries, needs and desires.

In this workshop we are going to offer you some practices that can help you address and share your expectations, boundaries and desires. With tools of EFT (Emotional Focus Therapy) we will address possible triggers and emotions that you could experience and find a way to share them with others. Step-by-Step we are going to explore the boundaries of others and ourselves. Playfully we are going to learn, consciously to stay in contact with ourself while interacting.  We will also give you tools to reconnect with yourself again when you need it.

2. Conscious massage

Tantra learn us to have contact with ourself, with all the feelings and desires that we may have. The way of tantra is the way of acceptance of what life move in us. When we give a massage we are also full of thoughts, feelings, emotions… and to be aware of them can be very beautiful but also confronting. In this workshop we will first get in contact with ourselves before we get in contact with others.

We are going to practice with different qualities of touch, of making contact with each other. Then we will create a “Sacred Space” and we will guide you into a conscious massage where we use intention to direct our energy.

You can come to this workshop with your lover, or a chosen partner or even with two massage partners. Be aware that nudity is an option but not necessary. If you prefer to keep some clothes on that is perfectly OK.

3. Embracing our sexual blueprint

How we love, how we feel pleasure, what we reject in sexuality is in a great way influenced by what we have seen as a child, what we have heard about pleasure, what was allowed or forbidden. Further than that, we are born in a culture that sees the expression of your desires and sexuality in a certain way. We wear this blueprint in our cells and it has a big impact in our daily life.

In this workshop we are going to dive in our pleasure & sexual blueprint. We are going to get in contact with our life force energy, our sexual energy in different times of our life, from our birth till the day of today.

4. Worshipping all energies in us

Tantra is the path and breaking up with patterns and ideas of who we are to be able to expand and feel who we are. The god Ardhanarishvara represents the synthesis of masculine and feminine energies of the universe. It has the form of Shiva (man) and Parvati (woman) in the same body.

For men and women day in the festival, or as a workshop another day, we would love to invite all genders and expressions to come together. We feel it is time to give more space to share with each other about our different energies, about sexuality and pleasure. To realize how much we are alike and have the same strengths, vulnerabilities, desires, fears and wishes.

MORNING PRACTICE:

Tandava mediation (4-all, morning practice)

Tandava is a meditation dance. In the Tandava dance you follow the way into yourself to feel, to get in contact with your own energy. Tandava brings you in contact with what can be felt at every moment. To accept what you find in yourself. It is the dance that leads you into a field of not-knowing, intuition and sensitivity.

EVENING EVENTS

Temple night

As we did last year we will prepare a temple evening and hold space together with other teachers. For us it is important that everybody in the festival, with or without experience in tantra feels safe and welcome in our temple night.
