What is Biodanza?
Biodanza is a dance of heart and freedom straight from South America, which was created in the 1960s. His father is a psychologist, anthropologist, poet and artist Rolando Toro from Chile. As a method of personal development, Biodanza is used in over 30 countries around the world. It is based on personal, direct experience - individually, in pairs, subgroups or a group of all participants. During the class, it uses music, movement and dance to create harmony and closeness in interpersonal relationships.
Biodanza is a deeply transforming, and at the same time delicate work on personal development and awareness based on body work, movement and dance. It integrates body, mind, emotions and soul. It awakens vitality, creativity, sensuality, sexuality and emotionality. It teaches openness, joy, building good relationships and expressing emotions.
Biodanza led by Cristiano Martins is a great dance journey that travels through landscapes of emotion, joy, dance and movement. It's easy. You do not have to learn any dance steps. All you need to do is to move your body and enter into a relationship with music. We start straight - meet, connect with other people in the group, use games to relax, let things go and get to know each other. We move deeply into the dance, passionately devoting ourselves to music, experiencing it individually and as a group. From this place we go deeper into exercises that combine meetings and connections with others to heal, discover and express oneself.
